Later if nothing works, please back up all your files and perform a complete system recovery to factory settings by reinstalling the complete operating system on the computer and try to install the printer again as a last resort. Then try all the steps from my previous post. Please try to run system file check on your computer first. It certainly looks like an operating system issue with the computer as the software and drivers stored on HP support servers is downloaded every day by several customers for this model and it is tested for complete functionality before hosting it on our servers.
